Taha Long (b. 1997) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Klang, Malaysia. He works across film, immersive experience, and installations. He graduated from School of Visual Arts with an MPS in Film Directing, and is an alumnus of the Playlab Films' 2022 Apichatpong Weerasethakul's Lab. Across the arts, his work interests itself in how interiority, private often invisible experiences sit inside public, physical spaces.

 

His recent video art, “Una Conversación con Lizeth”, was exhibited at the 18th Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, and the 2024 KL Experimental Film, Video & Music Festival. For his installation and performance work includes: Ruang Antara Mimpi (KL Festival, 2026), Tidur Lambak (Lingkaran Ipoh, 2026), and Tidur Lambak (Djakarta International Theater Platform, 2025) and Katil bersama (KL Design Festival, 2023).

 

Taha’s projects have been featured in Asian Movie Pulse, Tatler Asia, Free Malaysia Today, Dance Magazine, and more. He also serves as part-time lecturer at Multimedia University (MMU).
